“I consider myself a colorist, in the Abstract Expressionist and Impressionist styles. I interpret God’s gift of nature using a free form that is both simple and extensive in shapes, compositions, colors and subjects. When I make my art, I focus on my imagination at that time and place, using nature as my guide.”~ Samuel
Samuel studied art at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan in the 1970’s, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Painting & Pottery. His work has been accepted to numerous juried shows in the Northeast Ohio area and his work has been shown in a number of galleries including the Wasmer Gallery of Ursuline College, Fairmount Center for the Arts, Artists Archives of the Western Reserve, Bruno Casiano Gallery and most recently at the Rocky River Nature Center’s May Show.
Samuel is a member of the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve, ARTNeo and the Cleveland West Art League. He lives and works in Lakewood, Ohio.
