About Us

Staff When I started college at the University of Akron I thought I would follow my major as a commercial artist. After school I worked selling art supplies and "accidentally" morphed into a picture framer. I suppose because of my background it was a natural progression and I’ve never been happier with the path that I have taken. Professional picture framing allows us to be creative and use all of our artistic skills.

The industry is continually growing and changing and we do our best to keep up on the newest information and education to best serve our customers. As members of the Professional Picture Framers Association we have the best materials at our fingertips to stay informed.

My love of color and building things by hand made picture framing a perfect job for me. Over the years I have had the opportunity to learn a lot of framing techniques that has made it possible to work on all the great projects that I have done. It is a challenge to see what framing project is coming into the shop next. I've been able to meet a lot of wonderful customers and see great art from kids and the old masters.

I started framing in college at the Pittsburg Institute of Art and that is where I learned the basics. After taking a break to have a family and work in graphic arts I too, like Lori, fell into professional picture framing. We worked together for a few years, went into separate directions and now we are working together again creating beautiful framing.
